What is MoviePeg?
MoviePeg is a family of super simple stands for your iPhone and iPad, designed to make watching and doing stuff on your favourite Apple products a truly pleasurable experience.
What is MoviePeg made from?
MoviePeg is made from a material called Thermo Plastic Elastomer (TPE). We chose this material for its feel and flexibility plus the fact it is recyclable. The nature of the material and manufacturing process means from time to time a small number of MoviePegs may have faint markings on them. Where are MoviePeg products made?
All MoviePeg products are made responsibly in the UK. Designed in Manchester and manufactured entirely in the North West of England.
Delivery
How long will it take to ship my MoviePeg?
Orders placed Sunday to Thursday are usually processed within 24 hours, subject to stock availability. Orders placed on non-working days (weekends and UK public holidays) are usually processed within three days subject to stock availability.
Please allow 3-5 working days for UK deliveries, 5-10 days for Mainland European deliveries and 5-20 days for the rest of the world including USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Please remember that there are a number of factors, which can affect the delivery of mail these include severe weather such as snow, natural disasters and other unprecedented international events. Please rest assured in these circumstances we always do our best to get your orders through.
Can I track my order?
We currently use Royal Mail to ship globally as they offer the most cost effective service from the UK. They do not offer a standard shipping notification system however we are looking to introduce a tracked service in 2011. We know many of you would like to know when your MoviePeg is on the way to you.
What if my order doesn't arrive?
In the very rare event of non-delivery, after 30 days, we will be happy to discuss a refund or sending a replacement product to you.
What happens if I want a refund?
If you are not happy with your MoviePeg then we want to know about it. Please drop us an email at help@Movie-Peg.com to tell us what the problem is and we will get back to you asap.
If you are not entirely happy with your MoviePeg we are happy to exchange or refund items within 14 days of receipt. However unless the item is faulty the return postage costs are the customer's responsibility. Refunds will be issued via PayPal only.
My company wants to make a branded version, can I do that?
We certainly can. Please contact us and we can talk about it.
MoviePeg for iPhone
I love MoviePeg for iPhone 3G/3GS but will it work when I have a skin or a case on my iPhone?
MoviePeg is designed to work on the iPhone 3G/3GS when it's naked. It will work with some skins and cases but we haven't tested it on every case and skin that is available (that would take us weeks!). If it works with your case please do let us know.
What about the iPhone 4 version?
We have designed MoviePeg for iPhone to work with or without an official Apple Bumper. It will work in some cases but again as there are so many we don't have a definitive list. If it works with your case please do let us know and we can blog about it.
Will it work with my iPod or iPod Touch?
MoviePeg is designed to fit beautifully with the curves of the iPhone. However, people tell us that they find it does work with their iPod in a horizontal position (but not vertical).
MoviePeg for iPad
How can I use my MoviePeg for iPad?
MoviePeg for iPad can be used in both portrait and landscape positions. To get the best use out of it you should make sure that you push the two halves firmly on to your iPad so that they clasp it snugly. If you are using MoviePeg for iPad in a portrait position then you will find that they work best if placed at least 4-5cm from the bottom of the iPad. The unique curves of the iPad mean that if MoviePeg is used too close to the bottom the device can occasionally slip / fall over - and no one wants that!
Does MoviePeg work on both first generation iPad and iPad 2?
MoviePeg for iPad is currently available for first generation iPad – we’ll let you know what are plans are for iPad 2 in the coming weeks.
Will MoviePeg work on all surfaces?
MoviePeg is designed to work on all surfaces however we have found that occasionally it doesn't work as well on some highly glossed surfaces. The combination of the material and the polished surface can cause the two pegs to slip off so we always recommend testing out the surface first.
Do I need to buy two MoviePegs for iPad?
No, they come as a pair that fit together when not in use. But of course we're always happy for you to order several (!).
I love MoviePeg for iPad but will it work when I have a case on my iPad?
MoviePeg was designed to work on a naked iPad (i.e. with nothing on it). So if you have a case you will probably need to slip your iPad out of it for your MoviePeg to work.
